In Stuttgart, Germany ended their struggle by being no. 3 in the World Cup 2006, beating Portugal by 3-1; 2 goals scored by Bastian Schweinsteiger and 1 more being 'donated' by Petit who actually tried to swift away the free kick but unfortunately send it straight to the goal. Portugal however, didn't leave their final game in the World Cup 2006 emptyhanded, at least they've tried their best by scoring 1 goal thru Nuno Gomes. And Oliver Kahn, who did his blunder in World Cup 2002, proving that he's still fit & strong. Finally, Kahn was given the chance by Coach Klinsman, recommended by Lehmann, made his last appearance in the World Cup 2006 before kissing goodbye.
