Watched the semi-final between Italy & Germany this morning... as expected by all... the result was... Mama Mia!!! Italy did it their way... in mafia style... winning 2-0 by beating Germany... & they'll be in the final!! Germany seemed to defend all way with their "One Touch Football" skills & expected to have a penalty contest but, Italy knew they could not afford to go thru that kind of contest. So, the Azzurri finally finished up the business before the 120 minutes were up, in order for them to march to the final in Berlin on 9 July. They struck & scored their 1st goal at the Dortmund stadium at 119 minutes, giving no chance for Germany to respond. A minute later, just to make sure, Italy broke away and scored again. The hopes of the home nation Germany who have contributed so much to making this a successful FIFA World Cup were reduced to dust and carried away on the night air. Through the previous records, Germany had never lost in Dortmund, but they had never beaten Italy in four attempts at FIFA World Cups. Well, who's gonna be in the final match to meet up with the Azzuri?? We'll check it out tonite...
