When your blood cholesterol is high, the build up of cholesterol thickens the inner layer of your arterial wall. This will lead to narrowing of the arteries and insufficient blood reaching the heart. A heart attack may follow. Seek the advice of your doctor when your cholesterol levels are borderline/high.
*** Watch what you eat : Control calorie intake & avoid being overweight / Reduce fat intake (saturated) / Reduce dietary cholesterol (less than 300 mg/day) / Increase consumption of mono/unsaturated fatty acids.
It is important to limit your intake of foods rich in saturated fats & cholesterol. These are found mainly in animal products. Eat more vegetables & white meat (e.g. fish, chicken).
*** Watch your weight (I'm maintaining my Body Mass Index of 20)
*** Exercise regularly(Of course I do always)
*** Stop smoking(No way jose... never do & never will!!)
Think about it ok!!
