People are used to attending conferences that are boring & forgettable. Is that so? Well, listening to what Steve Shapiro on 24/7 Innovation, Ernesto Verdugo on Sales & Branding and also Anita Sarawak on Self Empowerment said, had really change that statement of status quo.

I was asked my boss to attend the Oxcel International Conference recently at Berjaya Times Square on new innovative ideas & concepts & it was proven that adults learn best when relaxed.
Part of the notes to be shared...
- Be sure to address the root cause of the problem; be data driven.
- Keep statement broad; avoid leading to a solution.
- Word opportunities "optimistically" rather than about correcting a problem.
- Define evaluation criteria up front as part of problem definition.
- Diverge then converge, generate ideas, suspend judgment before selecting/strenghtening ideas.
Albert Einstein said "If I were given one hour to save the planet, I would spend 59 minutes defining the problem and one minute resolving it."
Well, dear colleagues, simple things in life make a difference. We need to be proactive guys!! Just blame nobody! Expect nothing! Do something! Wooohhoooooo!!!
